To be drunk in its youth (in the first 3 years) to enjoy its superb fruit aromas. Or to be open from the 5th year to 20th year to appreciate its amazing ageing potential.
To be drunk young (in the first 18 months) to appreciate its magnificent minerality and very complex fruit aromas. Alternatively, to be kept at least from 4 to 12 years to discover a very rich wine with notes of honey and crystallized fruits.
A genuine rosé sparkling wine – it could almost be a fruit juice – delights the palate with lively fine bubbles, smooth fruity aromas, freshness thanks to its low alcohol content! Serve Daumas Gassac “Rosé Frizant” well-chilled to quench thirst, indulge the taste-buds and banish gloom! Serve between 4°and 6°C.
Mas de Daumas Gassac wines owe their very being to Professor Emile Peynaud! So it’s only right that our greatest wine should be named in his honour! It’s a tribute to the man who taught us everything, the man who unveiled the art of creating a wine in the image of the great terroir that is the Gassac Valley.
A little “masterpiece” from the “old wine grower”! But a masterpiece in the olden days’ sense of unremitting, skilled work – only produced in a very special vintage such as 1997, 1998, 2007 & 2011
