Soils Dry, arid Jurassic limestone slopes.
Grape varieties Blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Carignan. 25 year old vines.
Vinification Traditional for Grenache (in vats for 6-7 days) – Carbonic maceration for Carignan (6-7 days) – temperature of vinification 28°C-33°C. No filtration.
Maturing 5 to 6 months in stainless steel tank.
Harvest 100% manual for Carignan – 80% manual for Grenache.
Yield 55 à 60 hl/ha.
Alcohol 12.5 % Vol.
Production 200,000 bottles.
Eye Clear ruby red with glints of deep purple.
Nose Aromas of very ripe red berries, hints of spice.
Mouth Fruity wine, rounded and soft: a pleasant easy drink.
End Well balanced with definite hints of red fruity jam and a touch of pepper.

Keeping :

Ready to drink now, should be drunk within 2 years.

We advise you to drink this wine within a year to enjoy its fruitiness to the full.

But whatever you do, don’t keep it longer than 2 years.

As with all wines, the temperature at which it’s kept will dictate how well it keeps. The ideal is between 12°C and 18°C.

Tasting :

Best served between 18°C and 19°C.

To enjoy it best, we advise you to drink the wine with a meal.
