Soils Rognacien marl and lime sandstone hillsides.
Grape varieties 100% Syrah – 25 year old vines.
Vinification 100% De-stemmed, traditional, with10-12 days in vats. No filtration.
Maturing 5 to 6 months in stainless steel tank.
Harvest 60% Manual.
Yield 50 à 60 hl/ha.
Alcohol 12.5 % Vol.
Production 20 000 bottles.
Eye Deep violet red.
Nose Very ripe red fruits, a touch of leather.
Mouth Warm, fruity, concentrated. Good tannic structure.
End Open and satisfying. Good length.

Keeping :

Ready to drink now, should be drunk within 2 years.

We advise you to drink this wine within a year to enjoy its fruitiness to the full.

But whatever you do, don’t keep it longer than 2 years.

As with all wines, the temperature at which it’s kept will dictate how well it keeps. The ideal is between 12°C and 18°C.

Tasting :

Best served between 18°C and 19°C.

To enjoy it best, we advise you to drink this wine with a meal.
